In life, there are days and moments where everything we do does not feel enough, or face situations that are beyond our control. A common response to such instances is to doubt ourselves and our abilities, and that is a very normal and human thing to do. But the effect of self-doubt can cut both ways: It can either spur us to achieve our goals and thereby boost our confidence levels, or cause us to feel entirely powerless and paralysed. Moving from Self Doubt to Self Confidence

It would be nice if moving from self doubt to self confidence just came naturally. However, moving from self doubt to self confidence is a practice you can adopt, with practice. When you are able to identify where your insecurities lie and what is stopping you from feeling confident, you can then start the process of moving from self doubt to self confidence. You will be able to work on eliminating the blocks that are keeping you from moving through life with assuredness. Here are some of the culprits for the patterns of self doubt and ideas for what you can do about them.

While some need mindset adjustments, others need a confidence boost or a little reassurance that they are on the right track. Take small steps, follow and when doubt starts to creep in, remind yourself that money is only a tool and you are learning.

Alfred Sng, Designer

Nathan has been more than just a financial consultant but also an amazing friend. He takes pride in his work and even more importantly, he genuinely cares and value the friendship beyond his job. He is always pro-active in helping me with my claims, allowing me to really lean into him for support without any worries!

Yvonne Goh, Police

Nathan, one of the few motivated young men, whom I've came across. He's always exudes positive vibes; making the meet-ups an enjoyable one, akin to catching up with a close friend. He makes good assessments of our situations; looking into our needs for specific products while managing our financial obligations. Keep up the good work chap!

Vanessa Loi, Legal Advisor

Nathan has an incredible gift of listening. He listened first to understand my priorities and preference before recommending a suitable product. When he knows when I’m not keen in certain products , he respects my decision and did not push me to buy something I don’t need. For that I trust him as a professional because he’s someone who placed others before him. Another bonus, Nathan loves dropping surprises when least expected.

Desmond Lim, Business Development Manager

Enthusiastic to share but not pushy and open to alternatives. Nathan is objective in my financial and coverage plans. He often plans to complement my other existing plans and investments despite them being not from Prudential. He is simply a text away for any queries or follow up, nothing is too small or unimportant for his time. Keep up to good work!
